There are precious moments we keep on awaiting all our lives, the moments that make these others less precious worth living, For years, we can keep on inviting them, in vain, deceiving ourselves that they are right there, within the reach of our hand.
Then, they just simply happen one day.
Finally, when one becomes aware that a long awaited moment has arrived, tortured by thirst and scorched by the sun, one tries to capture it, on the palm of a hand, like a drop of water that means pure life.
Immeasurable happiness of the moment flooded by anxiety of a mortal.In the end, when it becomes obvious that the moment vanished almost before it appeared, one tries to capture this golden dream, in order to survive all the other gloomy days to come. |
